So much of this xanga stuff is for me to look back so i want to post a bit about each of my monsters

most of my posting will just be guching about my kids, so if you are a visitor just passing through this site, you've been warned.

Payton Marie is first

Payton is 4 yrs old. she was born on october 16 2003. Fairly easy pregnancy but she came prematurely at 33 weeks. Little did i know she would be my longest pregnancy to date.She was a perfect baby, more like my best friend. She was born when i was 17 and following her birth her father and i started the 3 yr long break up so it was just Payton and mommy. She was named Payton at first becasue we were convinved she was a boy, and she was to be named after that silly famous football player. When "She" was born, and especially almost 2 months early, we were at a loss for names. One of our nurses actually suggested that Payton could work both ways. And so it did.

To date she has done everything ahead of time, walking at 8 months talking quite a bit by about 10 months, and now that shes older we are working on letter recognition and sounds. She knows 90% of her shapes even odd ones like diamonds and pentagons. she can tell me which letters start about 10 different words. we count to 18 and know our ABC's. She has proven to me how amazing the young brain is. ANyhting i set out to teach her she can pick up on, with the right amount of effort from both of us.

She is quite a girly girl right now, very into her barbies and babies. She loves to sing and dance and has found a new love with her new aunts in cheerleading. Tim's sisters have her in lifts and tucks and weird cheerleader stunts every time we are there.

she has psoriosis on her scalp which is an annoyance but other than that she very healthy. Shes small just under 30 lbs, but the dr just comments that she has "the little girl" frame.emotionally she has seen alot of ups and downs in her short years but she has come through everyhting with such a great understanding and outlook on it all. I worry about her occassional acting out like shes a baby, but i figure with 2 sickly litle brothers, she may feel like theres a fight for attention now and then.

Shes very protective to the boys right now adn shes super excited about the baby. shes been picking out clothes adn shoes and furniture for weeks since we've told them..

When looking back on this i guess the things i really want to remember about my princess right now is

Her silly love for shoes. She has a million pairs and loves each and every one of them, she likes to match them to her outfits and quite frequently tries to sneak out iwth 2 different shoes on because she likes them both.she is the smae way with socks gloves jewelry, actually most accessories. She is a little goof about getting dressed

She sings everyhting on the radio. She has recently realized that people aren't just making noises when they sing, but its actually all words. she used to just hum along but now she is trying to come up with words for each sound and has come out with some pretty umm " special" combinations. She is very shy though so if you laugh at her she quits singing for weeks. I hate that stupid FLo Rida song but hers is quite nice

she loves to draw right now, i have a million pictures all over the house. She can only write about 6 letters but she likes to combine that with squiggles and circles and write us letters too.many of her pictures for the past couple weeks have been of the baby, who always has a bow in her hair, even before we knew it was a girl. she said she already had enough brothers.

She is very much my little helper, she likes to go to the store with me and run errands. She wants to help change diapers and wash the boys and fold laundry. Shes like a little mom the way she runs around "taking care of things"
